What we store and for how long

Your text

Your draft is stored with its report so you can reopen the report, undo fixes and download it. It is not added to any archive that other people's documents are checked against, it is never published or resold, and it is never used to train models. Deleting a report deletes its text; deleting your account deletes everything.

Free scans without an account

A free scan is kept briefly so the page can show it and so you can claim it into a new account. Unclaimed scans are removed on a short schedule.

Sources

The published pages a match was found on are fetched to show the match in context. Nothing from your draft is sent to those pages.

Account details

Your email address, sign-in identity (email, Google or Apple), settings, and billing records. Card numbers are held by the payment processor, never by Silvertext.

Usage records

Which checks ran, how many credits they cost and when, for your usage page and our billing. These are kept for the life of the account and for the period the law requires for financial records.

Analytics

Cookieless page counts always; optional analytics only with your consent through the cookie banner on the main site. The app itself sets only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.
