The API and the developer waitlist

Silvertext's checks are available to developers through an API, with an MCP server for agents.

Joining the waitlist

Access is opening in stages. Join the waitlist from the API page on silvertext.com, or from Account → API in the app if you already have an account. You are emailed when your access is ready.

What the API does

The same pipeline the app runs: submit text, get a report with matched passages and their sources, language findings, citation findings and AI likelihood, with the same fixes available as operations. Reports are the same shape the app renders.

The MCP server

Agents that speak the Model Context Protocol can run checks and read reports through the Silvertext MCP server, so a writing agent can check its own draft before handing it over. The MCP page on silvertext.com describes the tools it exposes.

Documentation

The API reference lives on the API host itself and is generated from the live specification, so it always matches the deployed version.

Pricing

API usage is billed in the same credits as the app, at the same rate per page. Department and volume arrangements are made directly; write to us from the contact page.
